Rare opportunity to purchase Jack's Famous Bar, a Philadelphia neighborhood tavern dating to the end of Prohibition in 1933. The $350,000 offering includes the approximately 1,568 SF two-story building, seller-owned full liquor license and all furniture, fixtures and equipment, subject to PLCB verification and transfer approval. The bar accommodates approximately 30 patrons and includes a fully equipped kitchen with fryer and cooktop, bar equipment, refrigeration, POS system and a basement walk-in cooler. The kitchen was reportedly rebuilt in 2017 with updated plumbing, electrical and HVAC. Located along East Allegheny Avenue near Kensington Avenue with CMX-1 zoning. Philadelphia Magazine named Jack's the 2016 Best of Philly Dive Bar. A genuine piece of Philadelphia bar history with the equipment and infrastructure for a new owner-operator to continue the concept or introduce something new. Buyer responsible for independently verifying zoning, occupancy, licensing and equipment.
